Thomas R. Haugrud
Thomas R. Haugrud – a shareholder at LOSGS – provides representation in a broad range of legal matters to individual and organizational clients, in such matters as real property, wills and trusts, estate planning and administration, guardianships and conservatorships, corporate, debtor-creditor, civil litigation, and employee benefits. His representation includes providing services in both transactional and litigation matters.
An experienced litigator, Thomas has litigated complex real estate tax cases on behalf of multi-employer apprenticeship trust funds. His expertise in utilizing mechanic liens and payment bonds has led to significant recoveries of fringe benefit contributions owing to multi-employer trust funds. He oversees the federal and state court litigation in which the firm seeks to recover delinquent fringe benefit contributions for the firm’s multiemployer trust clients.
